Aitken Spence Logistics, a premier local logistics and freight forwarder, part of the Aitken Spence Group has successfully deployed Oracle Warehouse Managementincluding third-party billing for Logistics Service Providers(LSP). This deployment, which integrated with their Oracle E-Business Suite, has enabled them to adapt readily to their changing billing requirements, and enhance their customer satisfaction by providing custom solutions. In addition, they provide theirmanagement with accurate financial status of the organization
Prior to the deployment of these modules, the siloed legacy system for the LSP operation made it tedious to cater to their rapidly changing needs such as new billing methods and changes in taxes. Furthermore the system was running on hardware and software reaching end of life.
With the successful implementation of Oracle Warehouse Management, Oracle Service Contracts and Oracle Order Management modules of the of Oracle E-Business Suite, the Company now has an integrated solution which enables the company to rectify any billing related errors in matter of hours including the checking and last minute adjustments.Senior Management now has access to the most up-to-date and clear financial position throughout the month.
The new deployment has also enabled the system to easily cater to changing needs of Aitken Spence Logistics, increasing the customer satisfaction and retention.
